“What is it?” “It’s God’s Provision!”
In Exodus the 16th Chapter, it is the first time we ever hear of the word “Manna.” God had just performed so many miracles to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. He had just swallowed up Pharaoh and all his chariots in the midst of the Red Sea and so, three days journey later, the Israelites are hungry, and begin to complain and want some bread! God listens to their “murmuring” and tells them He will send them provision…bread. “And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they knew not what it was.” Exodus 16:15 – The word Manna means “What is it?” Sometimes, we pray and ask the Lord for something, and He gives it to us in “His way.” It may not be the way we wanted it, but it is God’s way. Instead of saying, “What is it, Lord?” We should be saying, “Thank you, Lord, for your way is always the best way!” Thank God today, for His provision! Blessings! Sherry
