“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, (she had to make her way through the crowd) and touched his garment.” Mark 5:25-29 – She had been “bleeding for twelve years,” so she was considered unclean and could not touch anyone. She was poor, and had suffered many things and seen many physicians, and was now broke. Even though she was not allowed to touch anyone, she felt that “if” she could just touch “the hem of His garment,” she would be healed!
