“Now therefore, give me this mountain!”
You remember the story of the spies that went to “spy out the land of the enemy,” and how Caleb was one of them. When all the other spies were full of fear and brought back an evil report, Caleb said, “We are well able to overtake them!” Now, years have gone by and God has delivered the children of Israel from their enemies. Caleb is now 85 years old, still strong, still standing on God’s promise and he says, “I can still fight! Now, give me this mountain.” (The one he claimed!) Joshua 14:12 – Today, think back to your mountain that you have been climbing and tell the Lord, “Now, give me this mountain!” This mountain may be your wayward child, or healing or something God has promised you, but the Lord wants you to “claim your mountain!” Don’t give up!!!
