“To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you…” 2 Corinthians 10:16

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” This was the Great Commission to the church and still is today. Is the Lord calling you? I remembered years ago, when I went to Luzon Island in the Philippines. On the way there we had to have permission from the tribal leaders ahead of time to pass through different parts of the jungle. I remember looking up, and there were men in the trees with bows and arrows. Different huts had heads hanging out front as a status symbol! I finally made it to our location deep in the jungle. I had no other Americans with me, just Filipinos. I had them build ahead of time a large type brush arbor so that I could bring the Word of God out of the hot, beating down sun. As I entered the brush arbor, there was my head guy, his head had been cut off, and it was lying on our pulpit. When I saw this, I ran outside and jumped on my mule to get out of Dodge! My mule would not go! I beat him, and he still would not go. The Lord told me to go back inside and preach to the headhunters. They all surrounded me with bows and arrows with poison on the ends of the arrows. I preached, and many came to the Lord. After this, we built a church there!
