“How Much is Divine Favor Worth?”
“But the Lord was with Joseph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.” Genesis 39:21
 – For the last week here in Haiti, there has been horrible chaos, such as we have not seen in the 27 years we have been here! The prices of gas and diesel have increased a large percent, causing hardship on the poor who depend on public transportation to sell their goods. These high prices are also affecting everyone else. This has caused angry riots all over Haiti, and many buildings, hotels, and places of business have been looted and burned. The streets have been blocked with burning tires, burning cars, and mobs of angry people with fires, rocks and guns! Bobby had to get to the Port-au-Prince Airport on Sunday because of a personal emergency in the States. We had to send our driver, Philemon, who met with these angry people on the streets, so they would let them through. God gave favor to Bobby and Philemon as the mobs “opened the roadblocks,” and others steered him around back roads that he had never been on before. He made it safely to the airport. You cannot put a price on “divine favor.” It will get you into places you could never get to; it will open doors for you that are locked for others; it will put you in places of favor with those who can bless you. It can give you that job, even though others may be more qualified. This favor cannot be “learned in a Bible College,” or “through a book,” or “taught in a seminar.” You can’t download it on an “App,” or purchase it online! It is called “divine favor,” and it’s a divine gift from God! Pray for divine favor every day! God bless you, Sherry
