“Don’t Let the Devil Ride…”
Ever had the devil whisper something in your ear? You may be thinking, “How do I know it was the devil?” Well, did the thought start out like this, “Do you think the Lord really loves you?” Or “You don’t really believe God meant that verse to mean that.” Or “God’s forgotten about your son. Why don’t you give up?” Or “Maybe God doesn’t want to heal you,” or here’s a good one, “You can’t afford to give that much,” or “Did God really say that?”
In Genesis 3:1, we see Satan in the form of a serpent, talking to Eve about that delicious looking tree in the middle of the garden. “Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field, which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” Did God really say that? Did He really mean that? Don’t believe the lies of the devil! And don’t let the devil ride! If you let him ride, he’s gonna drive! Don’t give him an inch! He’ll take a mile! Put your trust in God’s Word and keep the doors of your heart locked and stay hidden in Jesus! Sherry
