“Never Think the Battle is Stronger Than You Are…”

In 2 Chronicles, Chapter 13, a battle is brewing between Jeroboam, King of Israel and Abijah, King of Judah. Jeroboam had forsaken the commandments of the Lord, had made golden calves, cast out the priests of the Lord, and committed sin before the Lord. King Abijah served the Lord and kept all of His commandments! King Abijah had set his battle in array, but he only had 400,000 valiant men. He was up against Jeroboam with 800,000 chosen men. Abijah was outnumbered two to one! But during the battle, Abijah “cried unto the Lord!” “And as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah…and God delivered them into their hand!” 2 Chronicles 13:15-16 – God is not moved by numbers.
