The widows and orphans are so fragile here in Haiti. Our heart is to visit (and help) “the fatherless and widows in their affliction…” James 1:27 – James is the apostle whose heart is really for the poor. He is the one who said, “If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food. And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?” James 2:15 & 16 – We can tell the people all day long that we are Christians, but it is more fulfilling to keep our mouths shut, and let our love and our deeds speak for themselves.
