A Missionary’s Prayer…
The life of any missionary here in Haiti seems hopeless at times. There are so many kidnappers on the streets. There are so many robberies and shootings, and the police are doing nothing! We all used to believe that our country would send in the “tough military guys” and wipe out the gangs… But sadly, we realize “there is no one coming to help us.” We realized, “our only hope is in Jesus.”
We are surrounded by kidnappers and those possessed with Voodoo. They don’t care if you are a missionary or a Saint. When extreme Voodoo spirits consume them, they go into Satanic trances and drink blood. Being a missionary, helping the poor, means nothing to them. But we have “an ace in the hole.”
“For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him, against that day.” II Tim. 1:12
We trust in the Lord, that called us. He will take care of us, and He will take care of you, in any situation you have today.
