Love, is Something You Do…

“If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled, notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?” James 2:16

We have been living and working in Haiti for over thirty years. I am sure that there are times we missed God in some small act of kindness we could have done. All of us have at one time or another closed our eyes, or our ears, to a real need. Our prayer every day, is that the Lord will open our hearts to always be sensitive to those around us, whether in Haiti, the U. S., or anywhere, and that never again will we overlook a real need no matter how big or small it may be… because “Love, is Something You Do,” as Bobby has always said.
