“Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” Psalm 150:6
We may not “feel like praising the Lord,” but the Bible tells us that “if you are above ground, you need to praise the Lord!”
“The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence. But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord!” Psalm 115:17-18
It’s true. You can be around someone who is happy and blessed, and they are always praising and thanking the Lord for all He has done. These people are happy. Yes, they have problems, but problems never stop them from praising the Lord! When we praise the Lord, the devil trembles! When we praise the Lord, it moves Heaven and Earth! When we praise the Lord, it goes right into His ears! Today, “lift up your heavy hands that hang down,” and just for once, lift your hands and say, “Lord, I praise you! You are wonderful! You have never failed me! You have never abandoned me! Lord, I just came to praise your name this morning!!!”
You will find out that, as you praise the Lord, you will find a peace and a strength that many do not have. The Lord “lives” in your praises! So, if you are breathing right now, stop, and praise the Lord!!! It’s going to be a great day!
