Word From the Mission Field: 12-8-18 6:00 AM

“How Large is Your Tent?”

Through the many years that we have been in the ministry, (Evangelists, Pastors, Radio and Television Ministry, Missionaries) we have come to see that some will never enlarge the place of their tent. They never want to “stretch out” and do something greater for the Lord. They are “content.” A lot of work is involved in “enlarging your tent.” Bobby was a “tent Evangelist” for many years. We traveled to many cities in the States. He started with a “small tent,” but his vision was always to have a “larger tent,” which takes a lot more work, but we did just that, and the Lord richly blessed us with souls! This is true of many missionaries, or maybe someone reading this devotion. They are content to stay in a small vision and afraid to “step out” on the water. Isaiah 54:2,3 declares, “Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left…”

Today, if you are praying, thinking or pondering about “doing something greater for the Kingdom of God,” go ahead! The devil would never want you to “grow the Kingdom of God,” so take that step, pull up your stakes, enlarge your tent and do something even “greater” for the Lord! Have a good day! Sherry
