“Everyone with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand, held a weapon… For the builders, everyone, had his sword guided by his side, and so builded.” – Nehemiah 4:17-18

Three non-Jewish Governors, Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem tried everything to keep Nehemiah and God’s people from rebuilding the wall. They were so convinced about what they were supposed to do, that they worked non-stop with their hammers in one hand and a weapon in the other! We must realize that even if the Lord begins to help us or heal us in any way, we will still have enemies we have to fight… and the biggest enemy is “Unbelief!” Don’t be disappointed or outraged! Keep on “building the wall,” but always know that Satan never gives up. Faith will keep you going!!!
