ARE YOU CALLED OF GOD?

“Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.” 2 Peter 1:10

There is a big difference between having a “desire” and “the true calling of God.”

So many people come to visit us here in Haiti. Many get so excited and have a desire to move here and be a full-time missionary. But so many after a while, when their money runs out, when it’s hot, when they don’t understand that the culture and “the Haitian way of thinking” is different from ours, it discourages them. Then too, there are dangers, Voodoo, and everyone is trying your patience, etc., the “desire” quickly leaves them!

If we are truly called of God, no matter what comes our way, those “who are called,” will stay. There is a big difference between a desire and the true calling of God… let the Lord use you today! Bobby
