GOD’S WORD NEVER FAILS!

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Matthew 24:35

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

Have you ever had someone promise you something, but they do not keep their word? We all have been through this. God keeps his word and will never fail us!

When I was growing up most people could not understand what I was saying until I was 16 years old, when the Lord healed me. Mr. Rice, who owned many horses just down from where we lived, made me a promise one day. He told me “if I would practice and would come back on a certain date and could say the word horse,” he would give me a horse! That’s a big promise! Well, I practiced and came back as I said I would, to say the word “horse.” He said that I did not speak the word “horse” well enough! So, he never gave me the horse! I was brokenhearted and went away very sad.

Now, here in Haiti on our Love A Child property, I look out and see five horses every day!!! They roam free on the property of almost 100 acres. The children and I go out and feed them carrots every morning! Sherry and I were sitting on our porch just before dark. I told Sherry, “Look up and see the horses!” Man may fail us, but God will keep his word! Sherry told me to say “yes,” and “God threw in two donkeys as a bonus!!!!”
