“A Job or a Calling.”
People have often asked us why “we don’t just leave Haiti?” We have been through floods, hurricanes, and earthquakes, and now, we are prayerfully “fighting off gangs,” that are not far from us. Two days ago, our driver was kidnapped, along with four others. Last year at this time, 21 of our people were kidnapped, four were our college students. They were released after two weeks, by a miracle.
Many people and some family members are worried and are afraid of us staying in Haiti. If this was a “job,” it would be easy. But, it is a “calling.” If Apostle Paul were here, he would say, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of our Lord, forasmuch as ye know, that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
Thank you, partners, for your love, sacrifices, prayer, and your faithfulness.
