“For Such a Time as This”

Ever think that you cannot be used of God? I never had the opportunity of going to college. I always thought, “How could God possibly use me?” Even when we moved to Haiti, we had no idea that God would put us in a time and place to be used of Him! It was when the 2010 earthquake hit Haiti! We had never been prepared for a disaster in a “third world country,” but God put us in a place to be used for His Glory! We became the largest field hospital in Haiti! Harvard sent people to us to help organize surgeries, etc.  We had to feed all those poor, broken bodies every day, pray with them, and encourage them!

One day, the leader of the Harvard team came to us and said, “What are you doing to these sick, wounded people? The people here are getting well faster than in other camps?” We explained that it was prayer! She said, “Well, let them keep doing it because it’s working!” God always had a way of putting us in a position “for such a time as this.” (Esther 4:14) Have a great day, and let the Lord use you “for such a time as this!”
