“Increase and Decrease.”

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30

Have you ever watched some ministers on TV or even in a church, but all you see is “them!” There are some that show the humility of Jesus but not many. Right after the 2010 earthquake that hit Haiti, there were many ministries, big ministries, that took advantage of this, and yet, there were some, that gave much and did it humbly. I can think of two that made an impact. Jentezen Franklin Ministries and Joyce Meyer Ministries. They did not give to be seen, but these ministries did their great work in a humble way!

Both these two great ministries were there at a time when Haiti needed help, but they did not do it to be seen. I’m sure there are many others like this, but when you go through a horrible nightmare of an earthquake in a very poor country, there are very few that do this, but not to be seen. We will never forget the great help they, and others, gave us, but remained humble and just wanted all the glory, for Jesus! There are those who believe “He, Jesus, must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30
