“WE ARE FOOLS FOR CHRIST’S SAKE…” 

I was raised with a woman, who wasn’t my mother since I was two weeks old. But to me, she was my mother. However, I was not treated very well. I was not loved. I became a Christian when I was 16 years old and was “set on fire” for Jesus!! My mother told me I had to stop going to “that church that was having an old-fashioned revival!” If I did not, she would kick me out in the street (she was deep into witchcraft). I said, “Mother, I can’t stop going to church!”

When I came home that evening, all my clothes were thrown in the backyard. She had kicked me out! She had a great fortune… a great deal of cash in “10 banks.” The next step was to commit me to the insane asylum! My real mother had been in the insane asylum for 21 years!

I stood before the judge who would determine my fate. My mother told me “I was a fool.” I said, “Yes, I’m a fool for Christ!!” 1 Corinthians 4:10
