“Perfect Peace”

Our whole world has been turned upside down. The things that we thought would never happen are happening every day. Here in Haiti, it is hard to think of “perfect peace.” We are surrounded by gangs on all sides. We have heard many times that “troops are coming to save us,” only to find out that this is not true. It seems no one cares enough to save Haiti, and the poor who are starving to death. But we cling to this scripture, like a drowning man clings to a life raft…

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” (Isaiah 26:3)

If you are still clinging to hope, don’t give up! God has never failed us, and He never will.
