“It’s Time to Enlarge, Lengthen and Straighten…”

It’s time to “step out, by faith.” The word this morning is for that person who has been praying about “stepping out,” and taking that leap of faith and doing something they have been praying about. Maybe moving to another job, another place, or something like that. This is the time to make the leap, and not be afraid. A few years ago, when “Nelson” was about three, he was on the top step of our orphanage, near the garage as Bobby was driving up. As soon as Bobby got out of the truck, without even thinking, this little guy took a running “giant leap,” and landed in Bobby’s arms! He could have fallen and broken his arm easily, but Nelson was not afraid, because he knew that “Poppie would catch him.” (It scared Bobby half to death!) Take the leap! Your Father will catch you! “Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on and the left…” Isaiah 54:2-3
