“Shine On”
If you have ever walked up to the Love A Child Children’s Home at night, you would agree that it is a beautiful sight. The building’s lights are solar-powered and illuminate the dark Haitian backdrop. When night falls, the surrounding village becomes completely dark, but the Children’s Home shines bright. It cannot be hidden. I have been high up in the mountains before and have seen its glow from very far away! It is impressive!
This is what God has called us to be. We are supposed to let our light shine. Others should see our light and know that it comes from God. We should shine in our workplace, our homes, our communities, and wherever life takes us.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.” Friends, remember today that YOU are a light shining for Him. Shine on!
