“Rock-Solid”

The men have been hard at work pouring the concrete foundation of the new Love A Child Mechanics Shop. This building will be used to maintain and repair the many Love A Child vehicles that we use for ministry. The foundation must support a very heavy load. From huge semi-trucks to little pickup trucks, this place needs to be rock-solid. It must withstand the tonnage, or the foundation will break, and the structure will crumble.

In Matthew 7:24, Jesus teaches that if we want our lives to be able to withstand the external pressures of this world, we must listen to what He says… AND do it! If we do what Jesus says, He puts us in the same category as a wise builder who built on a rock-solid foundation. He says we will not crumble when the storms of life hit us hard.
