The “Love Test…”
Sometimes, we can be fooled by people who say they are Christians, but yet, in your heart, you know that “something is lacking.”
On the other hand, that friend or acquaintance may not have the best of skills or experience, but he or she may have something more important… love!
Apostle Paul said he would “shew unto us a more excellent way…” (I Cor. 12:31) and (I Cor 13:1)
“Though I speak with the tongues of men (highly qualified, intelligent, educated), and of angels (perhaps they “seem” to be religious), if they have not charity, (love), I am become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal…”
He goes on to tell the qualifications of love in chapter 13 and ends up saying this, “But the greatest of these is love.”
Many people will claim to be religious, but they are “sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal.”
Spend your valuable time with those who are full “of God’s love!”
