“But None of These Things Move Me…”

Apostle Paul had just finished telling his friends that he was going to Jerusalem, knowing that “bonds and affections” were waiting for him. He was standing up for Jesus!

Even though he could “see” the bad things that were going to happen to him, he said, “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”

… And just think, some Christians are ashamed to say grace over their food in a restaurant.
