“Nothing to complain about…”

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:18)

This was written by a man of God, an Apostle… one who used to kill Christians, but after finding Jesus, he had an encounter with the Lord… “Apostle Paul.” Sometimes, we may think we have “sacrificed” for the Lord, but Apostle Paul is at the head of all those who suffered for Jesus. He was beaten, put in prison, received stripes on his back, beaten with rods, stoned, shipwrecked three times, in dangerous conditions many times, robbed many times, in perils by his own people, in the wilderness, on the sea, in hunger, in cold and nakedness, and much more. Yet, he counted everything glory for the cause of Christ! We have nothing to complain about. God has been “very good” to us all. Sherry
