In John, Chapter 10:26-30, Jesus was again, confronted by the “religious rulers” of that day. Jesus was angry with them… He said, “But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them (you), and they (you) follow me.” You may forget a name, but you won’t forget a “voice.” A pet dog, cat, whatever, knows the “voice” of their master… When the master calls, they come. They will not obey someone else. Sheep are bonded to their shepherd. A good shepherd leads his sheep, sits down with his sheep, and leads them to grass and water. They know the “voice” of their shepherd. If anyone else calls them, they will not come. When we pray and communicate with our “Shepherd,” we learn His still, small voice. It comes within us. We will not follow anyone else’s voice. Lean on your shepherd Jesus. He wants what is best for you… He will never, never lead you in the wrong direction. “Listen with your heart” to your Master’s voice, and have a peaceful, blessed day! Sherry
