Are you hiding something?
The Bible says … “For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.” Mark 4:22
In our lives, we cannot hide anything from the Lord. Anything we’ve done in secret God knows.
I have to tell you a story about Sherry. She never buys expensive things. She LOVES Walmart! She does like Dillard’s and Ross. What she loves most of all is Starbucks coffee!! When we are in America, we can hardly go anywhere without her stopping at Starbucks! Even several cups of Starbucks a day! She can’t get enough! The other day here in Haiti Sherry was looking for some little money we had hid. Sherry could not find it, so I thought I would look later. Well, while Sherry was out, I started to look for the money which was hidden.
I looked in one spot, there was a bag of Starbucks hidden. Every place I looked I found bags of Starbucks hidden. All together I found 6 bags of Starbucks hidden!!! I always wondered, “Every time Sherry is running out of Starbucks, all of a sudden we still have Starbucks to drink?” Now, I know. She thought her coffee was hidden. She thought she had a secret!
We may think we have things in our life hidden, but God knows everything when we stand before Him!
Every morning at 4:00 a.m. here in Haiti, Sherry has her French press Starbucks coffee ready for us to drink together. Even Kaeli, our missionary who lives in the Children’s Home with us, has her cup at 4:00 a.m.! Bobby
