Obedience is Always Better…
In the Book of 1st Samuel we meet a man named Saul, who would become “king,” one day. God had great plans for Saul, but God’s plan always demands obedience.
One day, Samuel, the Prophet of God, told Saul to “wait for him to come and they would burn a sacrifice together…” But when the Prophet Samuel did not come at the appointed time… Saul decided he would make the sacrifice himself. He must have thought, “I know what I’m doing! I can make the sacrifice as good as he can.”
But, the sacrifice wasn’t the point… it was the “obedience” test, and Saul failed! At that moment, God took the Kingdom of Israel and planned to give it to a young man named David!
Obedience is always better than sacrifice!
Have a blessed day,
