“Open Your Hands Wide.”

We are so thankful God has blessed us with precious partners who love the poor. Giving to the poor is not only a Commandment, but it automatically brings God’s blessings upon us! God loves it when we give to the poor. But in Deuteronomy 15:7-8, the Lord tells us that when we bless the poor, we are to “open our hands wide!”

“If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of the gates in thy land which the Lord thy God give thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thy hand from thy poor brother: But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him; and thou shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.” God’s greatest blessings come from obedience in helping the poor, because the poor cannot pay you back, but God will!  Have a blessed day!
