God’s Protective Power…

I hate snakes! To me, they are Satanic!

When Bobby and I returned to the States a few months ago, there was a huge, poisonous snake in our yard! Our neighbor was horrified!

Since we didn’t have a gun, Bobby got a shovel and fought with the snake and finally killed it!

I just opened my Bible to Acts 28:3-6. It is the story of Apostle Paul, being shipwrecked on the island of Melita.

Paul began to gather sticks to build a fire, and a poisonous snake grabbed his hand! The “barbarians” on the island thought that this was a sign that Paul was a murderer. But, Paul just “shook it off into the fire!”

Thank God that when we are under God’s protective power, no harm can come to us!
