“It’s Better to be Humble… Our Greatest Advice.”

In reading my Bible, I can surely see that “God loves brave people but He hates those who are proud.” I opened my Bible to Isaiah 11:21… this begins with “The lofty (proud), looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone, shall be exalted in that day.”

Through our years of being an evangelist, a pastor, and now a missionary, our best advice came from an elderly man of God. We were in a meeting, and when we got to talk to the man of God, Bobby asked him, “What is the best advice you could give me about the ministry?” He said, “Always be humble before the Lord.” We never forgot his words of wisdom.

Let’s always “be little before the Lord,” with our words and deeds. After all, Jesus is everything, and we are “nothing without Him.” Have a wonderful day.
