The “Emperor has No Clothes.”
I was reading my Bible, Revelation 3:17, and it says, “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing, and knowest thou that thou art wretched, and miserable, and blind, and naked.” It reminded me of the children’s story… “The Emperor has No Clothes.” In this children’s story, a vain emperor is sold “imaginary clothing” by some weavers. They promise the emperor that the clothes are visible “only to the wise,” and cannot be seen by those who are ignorant and unfit for their position. This is why the world is going today… they are “naked, blind, and miserable” without our Savior. “Jesus wept” when He looked over Jerusalem.
Today, your prayers are so important! Let’s continue to pray for those who are blind, naked, and hungry spiritually, without our Savior.” We love you.
