Joshua, Chapter One

Don’t be afraid because God is on your side!

In the first chapter of Joshua, the Lord is speaking to a young man. He had been “working under Moses,” the great man of God who had been leading His people through the desert to the “land of promise.”

But now, Moses is dead and a young man named “Joshua” must step into the footsteps of one of the greatest prophets the world has ever known… “Moses!”

Joshua knows the “trip is not over.” They still have many miles to go and battles to be won. The young man, Joshua, has some “big shoes to fill!”

If you ever find yourself “stepping on big shoes,” don’t be afraid. The same God who was with Joshua will be with you! Be not afraid!!
