“Freely Give…”

I hate to say this, but there is nothing worse than a stingy Christian! We know everyone cannot give or give a lot, but let’s always give “something.”

My father was an alcoholic all my life, but thankfully, right before he died, he prayed!

We grew up in the woods of Pennsylvania. We were the “poorest of the poor.” My mother was a “saint!” Until the day she died, she was always giving “what little she had.” She would “set aside” tithe money, carefully, so my father would not find out.

Jesus told His disciples, “Freely ye have received, freely give!” Matt. 10:8. Jesus didn’t “ask His disciples to give… He told them to give!”

I believe that when I was five years old, sitting on a log in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, God put “giving” in my heart, even though we were poor!

You may be facing some financial struggles today, but the best way to get out is to “give your way out!” God is “bigger than your problem!”
