“Just Do it!”
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 1:19
How often has the Lord spoken to our hearts to “do something,” or “give something,” or “go somewhere,” and yet, we did not obey. It is easy to say, “I thought I should do this or that,” but when we say, “I felt led of the Lord to do this or that,” it’s entirely different. I cannot count the times I have disobeyed the Lord because He asked me to do something “unusual or strange,” or “something that required a sacrifice.” “What if,” I had obeyed?
Sometimes, our excuse has been, “It was such a huge sacrifice, I just couldn’t do it.” Other times, we might have been given a job to do, but “it seemed too foolish” to do it. A man of God once said, “If you even think,” it’s the Lord, and it will bring blessings or draw someone closer to Jesus, just do it!
Have a blessed day and “listen with your heart” for what the Lord would have you do today, and every day.
