“And when they began to sing and praise, the Lord sent ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.” 2 Chronicles 2:22

They have a gigantic, massive army, coming to invade Judah. Jehoshaphat, the king, took matters into his hands and had the people of Israel begin to fast and pray. Before he went into battle, he chose out singers that should “praise the beauty of holiness as they went out before the army.” Here, the Israelite slaves were going to battle with “praise” as their weapon! When they finally got into the battle, they looked, and the enemy had already begun to destroy one another. “And behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth and none escaped!” What a battle!!!

Praise defeats the enemy! It is the greatest weapon we have and, “it always works!” It is our “secret weapon” against Satan. If you are facing a battle right now, begin to praise the Lord! Praise Him for who He is and what He has done already! Praise Him because He never fails you! Praise Him because the “battle is the Lord’s!!” And you will see that victory will come!!!
