COUNT THE COST BEFORE YOU BUILD!

“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sets not down first, and counts the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, saying, this man began to build, and was not able to finish.” Luke 14: 28, 29, & 30

It’s very important whether we are going to build or start in the ministry a business, etc. that we set down and count the cost first. Not just the money, but the sacrifice, work, and time.

All over Haiti, there are buildings which were started by missionaries and Haitian pastors that were never finished and wasting away. Some ran out of money and others took the money and did something else with it. When this happens, it almost puts a nail in your coffin. Christians will forgive you for a lot of things, but when anyone misuses God’s money, most will never forgive.

Set down, pray and count the cost first. No matter what, when you start a project for the Lord, you finish no matter what, being a good steward of the Lord’s money which your donor put in your hand.
