“Just Because You Can’t See Em… Doesn’t mean they aren’t there…”

“For the Angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.” Psalm 34:7

Just because “you can’t see em, doesn’t mean they aren’t there.” They are the protective force around all God’s children and they are invisible. They are Angels sent from God.

Have you ever wondered why “you just missed being in that accident?” Maybe you were upset because there was a lot of traffic and construction workers and it slowed you down or, you “missed your plane!” Don’t we hate it when that happens!!

When the earthquake hit Haiti in January 2010, Bobby and I were in a grocery store in Petionville, the Caribbean Market, buying food for a team that was coming in. We had to rush, in order to meet one of our Haitian employees. We had just arrived in Fond Parisien when the earthquake struck, killing thousands and wounding many more.

The next day, I went back to the Caribbean Market and stood there with tears running down my face. Mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, were talking on their cell phones to their loved ones trapped inside the market, who were covered with tons of cement, and debris. There was no “big heavy-duty equipment” to rush to the scene to remove the cement and everything that kept the workers and remaining customers from being crushed to death. To this day, I can hear the frantic voices of parents talking to their children, and others, talking to workers, trapped inside.

I still keep the grocery receipt from that day, which always lets me know, that “Angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him.” Timing is everything in God’s plan… and “our timing is not His timing.” And, just because you cannot see His Angels, doesn’t mean they’re not there! You are in the “palm of His hand” 24/7. Remember that when you are late for work, or just missed your plane or any other circumstance! Sherry
