If the Lord wanted you to “lend Him some money,” there’s no doubt you would say, “Oh, keep it, Lord! You’ve already done so much for me.” But when we give to the poor, we are “lending to the Lord.” “He that hath pity on the poor, lendeth unto the Lord, and that which he hath given will He pay him again.” Proverbs 19:17

When Bobby was preaching in an “African American church,” they would sing this song, “You can’t beat God giving… no matter how you try. The more you give, the more He gives to you… just keep on giving because His Word is true. Cause you can’t beat God giving, no matter how you try!” That sums it all up!!
