Word from the Mission Field

Acts 26:28 must be one of the saddest scriptures in the Bible.

We find Apostle Paul standing before King Agrippa Paul is giving a testimony of what the Lord has done in his life. After the testimony, King Agrippa answers Paul, “Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. Almost!

Two days ago here in Haiti, one of our friends, a security guard from a long time ago, was taken ill. His leg swelled so badly that the skin split open and started to fall off. He was in a lot of pain, but while we were going to see him, we found out that he “had made someone angry,” and as a result, “they had put Voodoo on him. What did he do? He went to another witch doctor to “reverse the curse. He paid a lot of money, but nothing happened.

When we went to see him, we said, “you must be converted and follow Jesus and He will heal you. He said, “No, Madamn Sherry, I won’t get converted and I’m not going to die.” How sad. Each day he is worse. He was “almost persuaded,” but not.

That’s why God putyou” here on this earth so that you could be the “lifeline” to Jesus to a “drowning man. He may not grab the rope, but at least, you tried. Never give up! Blessings, Sherry
