You Can Boast About This!

A lot of people boast about a lot of things, their house, their car, their job, their money. They boast about how smart they are! They boast about their “muscles,” or their clothes, or their jewelry. I had a relative that always boasted about the jewelry she had bought… her rings and necklaces. A pastor acquaintance of ours (not a friend, an acquaintance) boasted about his wife’s Mercedes Benz and how “blessed” she was!

“Thus saith the Lord, let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might; let not the rich man glory in his riches. But let him that glorieth, glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise loving, kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things, I delight,” saith the Lord.” Jeremiah 9:23
