God has a formula that works. God has made certain promises in the Bible. If we do certain things, He will bless us.

“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” Proverbs 19:17

“He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.” Proverbs 28:27

These are promises that work!

It’s important that you understand that we do not give to the poor to get back. We give to the poor out of the compassion of Christ in our hearts. Yet, when we give to the poor, God has a formula set in motion, from his Word, that works!
