“Take the Limits Off of God!”

Do we realize that God does “just what our faith wants Him to do?” So many times we “stretch to believe God for something small,” but really God wants us to believe for something big!!

Psalm 78:40-41 declares, “How oft did they provoke Him in the wilderness, and grieve Him in the desert! Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel!”

In Matthew 14:16-21, we see Jesus feeding 5,000 men, plus women and children. with five loaves and two fishes. You would have thought that Jesus would have “multiplied the food” to give exactly what was needed, but He didn’t.  He made “more than enough food!”

In Luke 5:4-6, the story told of Jesus’ disciples who were fishermen who had fished all night long but they had caught “nothing!” But when Jesus came by, He told them to “launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught!” They did, and there were so many fish that it broke their nets!!!

If you have “just have enough to get by,” then you cannot give or share what you have. You always need “more than enough.” Today, whatever you are praying or believing God for, “take the limits off of God!” Please!! Believe God for “more than enough,” because He is not the God of “just enough to get by…” He is the God of “more than enough!” Have a good day and “let down those nets!!!” Sherry
