“Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.” Proverbs 3:27-28 – When we see a need, we cannot pass it by. Years ago, when driving down in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, I saw a poor mother on the side of the road with twins. The mother was thin, and her hair was straggly. The twin babies were so small, thin and malnourished. There was so much traffic that we were not able to stop, but somehow, we should have. The next day, I went down and tried to find the woman and her two babies, but they were gone. Someone said, “She was made to move from her spot on the street, and she carried her babies and left.” I have always regretted not stopping to help that mother. God gave me a chance, and tomorrow was too late. Never pass up an opportunity to help the poor. You may be the answer to someone’s prayer. Sherry
