“There is a place by me (for you), and thou shalt stand upon a rock.” Exodus 33:21 — Living in Haiti, seeing the poor, the sick, the children in the garbage dump, the poor ladies at the gate, the woman crying because she has no money for hospital bills, brings the “weight of the world” on the shoulders of every missionary. When all the things “we cannot do alone overwhelm us” we go to that place by Jesus where He hides us. He puts our feet back on the “rock,” and lets us stay there until He makes a way for us. I am sure it is the same for you. Stick close to Him today and let Him take that burden you are carrying. He knows your name. He knows your burden and He wants to take it today if you will let Him.
