The night is coming…

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” John 9:4

Every January the bulletin of atomic scientists and others meet to study when doomsday, according to recent world conditions, will strike midnight. In 1991, we were 17 minutes away. Last year, 2019, we were two minutes away from midnight. Now in 2020, the commission is saying that we are only 100 seconds away from midnight, doomsday!

The night is coming when no man can work. We must work while it is day. We must do all that we can for Christ, now. Preach the gospel, feed the poor, do good unto men, so that they may see Jesus Christ in us.

I’m not looking for doomsday. We are looking for the return of Jesus Christ! All of the signs and prophecies of the end of time are coming upon us. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout… Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds…” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Let’s work today for Jesus and give Him our all. Only what’s done for Christ will last…
