Wisdom is better than gold…

The Lord asked Solomon, “Ask what I shall give thee.” II Chronicles 1:7

Solomon could have had anything from the Lord… riches untold. Solomon said: “Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great.” II Chronicles 1:10

Because Solomon had asked for wisdom and not riches, and wealth and honor, the Lord gave him all these things “such as none of the kings have had been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.” II Chronicles 1:12

Kings from other lands came to hear of his wisdom and bring gifts and gold to him! Queen Sheba came from a long way, from another land to see Solomon and all his glory. She brought him riches untold!

“How much better is it to get wisdom than gold and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver.” Proverbs 16:16

“For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.” Proverbs 8:11

Today seek wisdom and the Lord shall grant you wisdom. Wisdom will bring money, bless those around you, will bring favor, win souls to Christ, will help you make right decisions in your life, and will show you whom to marry. Your understanding will grow, your business will grow. Your life will grow… Every morning I ask the Lord for wisdom.
