“Fearful and Afraid.”
In Judges 7, a brave man named Gideon is getting ready to fight a battle against the Midianites! These people were without number! They were strong, and it seemed that Gideon’s people would lose. But what God said to Gideon, was incredible. God said, “You have too many people to fight this battle and if you win, you will think that you did it all by yourself. You need to “weed out the fearful and afraid.” When Gideon did this, he weeded out 22,000. But God said, you have too many, I don’t need 10,000 I just need a handful of “full of faith” people! God weeded them down to 300! All the rest of the fearful, afraid, and those who might run from the enemy, God didn’t want them. You see, God can move by thousands or by few… all He wants is Faith! You will find out that in this battle, God turned the enemy against each other!
