Bobby and I have lived in Haiti for 23 years and during that time we have seen a lot of missionaries, or so called missionaries come and go. We have come to believe that those who left Haiti were not committed to a “total surrender.” The ones we thought “would make it,” didn’t and the ones we thought wouldn’t, did last! “Without total surrender, a soldier is not useful to the army and a Christian is not useful to God.” — Richard Sterns.
